Whittington Church of England Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We expect all staff and volunteers to share our commitment to keeping children safe.

The school has a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment. Our main policy is our Safeguarding policy which can be accessed through this LINK. We teach safeguarding to the children in a range of subjects including internet safety within out computing curriculum.

Whittington Church of England Primary School works in partnership with parents and a range of other agencies in order to ensure that all children are kept safe.

A key document which informs our thinking on safeguarding is ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ and we actively support the Government’s Prevent Agenda to counter radicalism and extremism.

Advice for parents about internet safety can be found on our website in the ‘Computing and E Safety’ section of our website.
